My loyalties lie mainly with artists like Mac Demarco, Frank Ocean, and Alex G, but I do regularly venture into the world of rap, mostly with JID, Autumn, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole. I enjoy music of all shapes and sizes, and I frequently go to the jazz of my namesake John Coltrane, the rock of Steely Dan, or into the dredges of Mom Jeans.
