Sometimes you reflect back on a musical trend and find that maybe it wasn’t as great as you thought. That’s what happened while I was creating this grunge mix. After Nirvana and Pearl Jam, the pickings get slimmer. Soundgarden definitely qualifies, and pretty much everything on the Singles Soundtrack. I threw in some Smashing Pumpkins, and—with great reservation— added Stone Temple Pilots. But then we’re back to Pearl Jam and Nirvana, because they’re the ones that still matter. And, if I’m being honest, only Nirvana. Who’d I miss? Leave a comment.
